[AD] Travel with Trunki

As you may have seen, we have previously worked with Trunki in the past and have used their case religiously for family holidays ever since.
Recently, we were asked if we would like to test out and review their new Una the Unicorn case; now if you know Aoife, then you will know that she is unicorn obsessed. We took them up on their offer and they also kindly allowed me to run a giveaway for one of my readers to be able to win their very own Trunki of their choice.

[AD] Bluestone Winter Lights

We were recently contacted by Bluestone to see if we would like to head for a weeks break and experience their Winter Lights show. The last time we visited Bluestone I was pregnant with Florrie, so I jumped at the chance to be able to let her experience the amazing resort. My cousin decided to join us again like last time, along with her little girl.

Visiting Hawaii with Children

When I think of a holiday, instantly my mind wanders to daydreams of white sandy beaches, glistening clear ocean waters, a warm temperature and copious amounts of indulgent food and drink. Hawaii has been on my bucket list for the best part of twenty years and now that we have our girls, where better to look at taking our first holiday as a family of four?

Bluestone Day Three: Soft Play, Camp Smokey and Fairies.

'If you go down to the woods today, you're sure of a big surprise'
Jimmy Kennedy
Our third day at Bluestone brought about even more glorious sunshine; enough so that Aoife had the chance to get her legs out - something that certainly doesn't happen too often in Wales!

Bluestone Day Two: Blue Lagoon, Park Life and Ducklings

'If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere'
 Vincent Van Gough
When we woke on Tuesday morning, we were met with glorious sunshine which seemed to stay with us all week!

Bluestone Day One: Arrival and Accommodation

'Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower'
 Hans Christian Anderson
I have always fancied the idea of a UK break to a cabin in the middle of the woods; peaceful country walks and cooking food over a BBQ has appealed to me for quite some time. However, with the uncertainty of British weather and my husband's job, meaning that we have to plan holidays ahead of time has always put us off.

Long Haul Toddler Hacks

Travelling long haul with a toddler - it's the stuff of utter nightmares. At least it was for me when I decided to take my 17 month old to Barbados.

Don't ask me why we decided on such a long trip - it had been 2 years since our last holiday and with my job the opportunity was there, so we took it.

A Cornish Wedding

I think it's safe to say that everyone loves a wedding! A day in which you get to be a part of the start of two people's lives together and dance like a lunatic at the reception.

Recently I was invited to a lovely friends wedding in Tintagel, Cornwall. Living in South Wales, this was a bit of trek but there was no way I could miss it, despite the long journey.

New York, New York!

Time to dust off the cobwebs here again - I really need to stop making excuses and get back on the blogging bandwagon!

Cuba 2013

I flew out for a week to Cuba and stayed in a lovely all inclusive hotel called the Breezes Jibacoa. The hotel is actually in Varadero, which is about an hour or so from Havana where we flew into. If you get the chance to visit Cuba, you have to stay on this hotel. The staff were so friendly, the food was amazing, there was a 24 hour bar and also, no children under 14 years old can stay there. Bliss!

Viva La Mexico

Just a little blog post about my recent visit to Playa Del Carmen in Mexico. Like many of you know, I work for an airline which allows me to visit some truly beautiful destinations.
