Since starting my blog, I have been looking at ways in which to improve my photography skills and love nothing more than to print off physical copies. I figure that I won't be on social media forever and like to have photo albums full of memories for my daughters to be able to look back on in years to come.
I was recently contacted by Cheerz to take a look at their photobooks; I have always loved the idea of a photobook due to the creativity they offer. They also make amazing gifts; I am so tempted to get these for family for Christmas time. They also work well for things such as end of school gifts for teachers; each child in the class can have a page to have their photo on and have a little message to their teacher underneath.
I decided on the Hardcover Landscape option (£29) to display some of my favourite photographs of the girls.
On the main cover, you can alternate between different themes and colours (something I didn't realise when ordering!); there are themes for weddings, travels, births and more. I ended up with the main theme that was first displayed to me which was Sakura, a gorgeous floral pattern.
The customization process allows for you to add up to 8 photos on each page which means you can, quite literally, fill the book up with so many memories.
You can also have the photographs as different shapes and add text under images too which is a nice touch and something I hadn't seen in other photobooks.
I decided to leave a few pages blank at the back of the book so that I could add additional memories as the years go on.
The quality of the paper inside is lovely; for some reason I thought it would be quite thin and fragile, but I was very surprised - Cheerz use premium matte photo paper which definitely make a difference. You can even choose to have Felix Schoeller 180g photo paper if you wanted to.
Some of the photobooks also give you the option to have up to 150 pages and between 13 to 500 photos inside.
