Using Makeup To Enhance Your Beauty

We all strive to feel confident and beautiful in our own skin. As a woman, there are many beauty standards that can make us feel inadequate, and it can be difficult for us to feel at our best when others flaunt themselves on Instagram and look like models.

But it is important for you to look at yourself and feel more confident in your own skin, and today we want to take a look at how you can do this.

Here is how you can do your makeup this week for a more natural look that really helps to show off all of your stunning features.

Use a low coverage foundation

The base of your makeup is your foundation and it is so important for you to ensure a stunning, clean look at all times. When it comes to low coverage, it is important for you to choose the right shade and ensure that you blend it properly to cover your skin without clogging it up. A low coverage will feel lighter on your skin and it will also allow the skin to continue breathing throughout the day. With a clear complexion and a natural touch, you still get to show off features such as your freckles or birthmarks without them overcrowding your face.

Apply a brightening concealer

A brightening concealer is exactly what you need when it comes to your facial routine as it will brighten the under eyes and make your skin look brighter and more alert. Adding this to your under eye will just ensure that you look youthful and glowing, and you don’t need to add too much of this to do the trick!

Set with a translucent powder

On top of your foundation and concealer, you can add to your anti redness skincare routine and set the face with powder which will keep the products in place without adding a colour. Translucent powder is incredibly useful and it will simply glue your product in place as well as get rid of any shine around the nose and chin to give you a clean and matte look. This is such a simple step but it will complete your skin base and ensure that you look flawless without looking cakey.

Keep blush to a minimum

Blush is something that you can apply to the skin to add some flush, but if you are trying to keep things natural you don’t want to apply much blush if any at all. When choosing the right blush for a natural look, ensure you choose one that is not too bright and don’t apply a lot to the skin. A tiny amount applied to the apples of your cheeks will go a long way.

Use bronzer as a natural eye shadow

One simple way to add natural shadow to the skin without looking as if you have eyeshadow on is to use your matte bronzer or contour shade and apply this in the crease of your eye. This will add a natural shade and smokiness but will still maintain the natural look of your skin.
