Are you thinking about planning your first trip to Orlando? Here are
some of the questions you need to ask.
Are The Kids Old Enough?
First, you should think about whether the kids are old enough.
Obviously, there’s a lot in Florida for little ones but you need to make sure
that they get the most out of this experience. That’s why most parents will
wait until kids are about six before they book a trip to Florida. They want to
make sure that they remember the experience and that they can enjoy the vast
majority of different attractions that are there.
How Much Will You Need To Save?
Florida trips can be quite expensive and there’s often a lot of different
pieces to factor into your budget. However, there are ways to make things
cheaper. For instance, if you are planning a trip to Disney World you can book
everything through the main site including flights and even dining. Ideally,
for a family of four, you should be thinking about spending at least four
thousand pounds.
Hotel Or Villa?
You might want to consider whether you want to stay in a hotel or a
villa. A hotel does provide advantages particularly if you choose the right
one. For instance, the Disney hotels offer extra magic hours which is awesome
because you can get in the parks before the open. However private villas will typically offer
more comfort as well as space and a place to relax far from the crowds and even
the heat. They are also close enough to the theme parks that you won’t be
facing a massive drive each day.
What Attractions To You Want To See?
Good question, because there are tons of things to see and do in Florida.
Don’t forget Disney World alone is the size of San Francisco. You could easily
spend two weeks at Disney and still not manage to see everything, particularly
with a full family in tow. You’ll need to decide whether the theme parks are
the biggest draw here or if you want to spend time on the beaches. Don’t forget
that the Kennedy Space Center is here too and there are also fun adventures
like Discovery Cover. Regardless of where you choose to spend your time you’re
sure to love every moment of it.
When Should You Go?
Well if you’re ready to start planning and the kids are a good age, then
why not go next year? There will be lots of exciting attractions and
celebrations including the 50th
anniversary of Disney World. It’s destined to be a big deal and one that you won’t
want to miss. In terms of the time of year, that’s a little more tricky. July
is the hottest and busiest season. April is also quite busy due to spring break
and Christmas is absolutely crazy. However, there are quieter, cooler periods
with October being widely recommended as one of the best. If you time it right
you can travel just as the Halloween celebrations end and the Christmas
celebrations begin.
