Naipo Shiatsu Shoulder and Neck Massager - Review

I don't know of many people who don't enjoy a good massage, especially when stressed or tense. Massage can be used for many different things, including physiotherapy after an accident or injury, to help de-stress or even to help your muscles after a tough work out at the gym.
My husband had been complaining about an old shoulder injury that had started to cause him pain again, so when we were offered the chance to review the Naipo Shiatsu Shoulder and Neck Massager I accepted straight away. Like most men, my husband refused to see his doctor, so aside from a real massage this was the next best thing!
On all of Naipo's massage products they provide an intensity rating, ranging from one to five. The Shoulder and Neck Massager is rated at a four which indicates that it is most suitable for individuals who exercise regularly; something we do not do!
As the massager is portable you can use it in many different places, including the car as it comes with a car charger too - although make sure you are a passenger and not the driver if you do decide to use it in a vehicle.

The massager is equipped with the following features:
- Built in heat functions providing warmth to ligaments, muscles and tendons to help improve blood circulation.
- Eight deep-kneading massage nodes.
- 3D rotation kneading massage rollers in U-design which fits perfectly against your shape.
- Strap handles and dust guard cloth: the strap handles allow you to adjust the position of the massager to ensure that those hard to reach places are treated. The dust cloth helps protect you from the mesh friction.
- Overheat protection which automatically shuts the massager off after twenty minutes to guarantee your safety.

What I thought?
I decided to test the massager out before my husband got to it; it was fairly simple to set up, especially for someone who is no good with gadgets like me! All I had to do was plug it in and adjust the easy to use buttons to obtain what I wanted.
When the website mentions that the intensity level is a four, they are definitely not lying. I am not a gym goer at all and in all honesty, this was way too intense for me and I didn't find it too relaxing at all. I did enjoy the heat though as I am always cold and feel like I should have a hot water bottle permanently attached to me.
When my husband tried it out, he did enjoy it and has been using it for a few months now whenever his shoulder injury plays up - the heat and the kneading has certainly helped and he has found that the injury doesn't surface as much as it used to anymore.
Currently you can purchase the Naipo Shoulder and Neck Massager on offer from Amazon for £39.99
