Post-Birth Pain: The Part Of The Marathon You Weren't Prepared For

Giving birth is, without a doubt, the most amazing thing any woman can do. The experience of bringing new life into the world is literally top of the miracles scale, and it can change your outlook like few other life experiences. But, as most of us are aware, the experience will inevitably involve pretty high pain levels.
That’s why most of us do what we can to prepare. From heavy breathing right through to squats and positive hypnobirthing affirmations, a well-armed mum is, usually, in for the best possible experience. Yet, our prep typically ends there.

[AD] Peppa Pig: My First Concert Preview

For the last four years of my life, Peppa Pig has played a big part in it. My eldest absolutely loved Peppa and it was the only thing that she would happily sit and watch. Her younger sister soon followed suit and still loves it now; we have the books, clothes, and toys filling their room and we have enjoyed seeing Peppa in the cinema and in the theatre.

Photowall Wallpaper Mural Review

If you know me well, then you will know that I love interiors. I am always on the hunt for new home decor pieces and I am constantly looking for new decorating ideas online. You can imagine my delight when Photowall contacted me to see if I would like to review their mural wallpaper. Now, usually I am not a fan of mural wallpaper, but I had spotted an amazing design a few weeks before on Instagram which was from the same company, so I was desperate to get my hands on it.

Student Midwife Life | How To Survive Night Shifts

For the next few months I am working in a hospital for my placement; the shifts consist of long day shifts and night shifts. My mentor prefers night shifts, so the majority of the shifts I have done so far have been 19:30 starts until 08:00 the following morning.
Night shifts are not for everyone - you either love them or hate them. I had never done a night shift before this placement, so I wasn't sure what to expect. So far I am loving them, but there were a few things that I had to adjust in order to fully prepare myself for them and to ensure that I was safe to be working.
