Viva La Mexico

Just a little blog post about my recent visit to Playa Del Carmen in Mexico. Like many of you know, I work for an airline which allows me to visit some truly beautiful destinations.

I have to say that Playa Del Carmen was truly that. I stayed in the Reef Resort in Playacar, which is located in a lovely gated community in Mexico.

For the duration of my week's stay, I witnessed around 3 or 4 weddings and I must say that I am very jealous. The beach was perfect for a wedding.

There is nothing better to start the day than a Full English breakfast and a Virgin Redhead cocktail in the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in Gatwick!

I have no clue what the above animal is, but apparently it is a part of the squirrel family. There was so much wildlife at our hotel due to one of the allowances to building a hotel on that piece of land was for some of the forest and its wildlife to be kept there.

Our iguana friend. This was one of the small ones!

The most amazing ocean I have ever experienced.

All in all, I loved Mexico. I had the opportunity to swim with dolphins and snorkel with amazing species of fish.

However, I do regret not visiting the Mayan ruins, but that just gives me another reason to return.

Much love,

Jenna x
